Sergio Pininfarina & his Ferrari 365P Tre Posti

A Pebble Beach Concours Moment by WeatherTech

In this rare footage from the 2004 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Sergio Pininfarina talks about designing the Ferrari 365P Tre Posti — one of just two Ferraris with a center steering wheel, and with three seats. The car was created at the request of Gianni Agnelli, then chairman of the Fiat Group, and it is a stunner — a show car built on the chassis of a race car. Pininfarina convinced Ferrari to create the mid-engine layout so he could lower the car’s profile. The car returns to Pebble Beach in 2021 for a special celebration of Pininfarina, and it graces this year’s Tour poster, painted by Tim Layzell.

Our thanks to WeatherTech for partnering with us to create this video. Thanks, too, to Samuel Reyes (www.youtube.roushin84) for video of the car’s interior.
