ENTRY APPLICATIONS FOR 2020 ARE DUE MONDAY, JANUARY 6.
In early November we automatically send out entry applications to many annual participants. If you do not receive an application but believe you have a car that belongs in one of the classes planned for the upcoming Concours, you may request an application by email ([email protected]), including a brief description of your car and one current photo of the car. Please keep in mind that most of the cars on our show field are from 1972 or earlier.
If you have questions about the entry application process, please email ([email protected]) or call (US +1-831-622-1700).
Again, Entry applications for 2020 are due January 6.
After weeks spent vetting these applications, the Concours Selection Committee meets in late February or early March to determine which cars will receive an invitation to the August competition. Most applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision by April. It always takes a bit of time to put together the very best possible show field, so we ask applicants to be patient!
In selecting entrants, cars not previously shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance or at another major concours are given preference. (Please do not submit an application and then show your car elsewhere while it is under our consideration, as this may impact our decision.) Also, please note that we generally do not allow cars to return to our show field within a ten-year period unless they have changed ownership and are freshly restored (or they are an original preservation car).
Cars accepted for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance cannot be shown at any other public car show, event, display or auction in August prior to the Concours. (Exceptions are made only for certain cars participating in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.) We also ask you to tell us before showing your car elsewhere earlier in the year as this may impact our interest in it; we strive to be unique.
Cars can apply to be entered for display only (cars not to be judged). Cars accepted "for display only" will not be eligible for Class Awards or Best of Show, but they may compete for other Special Awards.
