Chairman Emeritus Glenn Mounger

Glenn Mounger retired from his position as Co-Chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2005 but went on to serve as our Chief Honorary Judge through 2019 before adding Emeritus to his former title. He continues to participate in and officiate at this and other significant automotive events around the world. A highly regarded expert on American classics, particularly Duesenbergs, Mr. Mounger is a fan of everything from Brass Era vehicles to postwar sports cars. He is also passionate about driving and preserving cars; in fact, he brought the first preservation class to the Pebble Beach Concours. Mr. Mounger was invited to join the Concours Executive Committee in the spring of 1999 and stepped into the role of Chairman that fall. He also serves among the directors or advisers of the Classic Car Club of America Museum, the LeMay Museum, and the National Automobile Museum. He previously co-owned Pacific Trail Sportswear and was Chairman and CEO of the international sportswear trade show MAGIC.
