While most Special Award Trophies<\/a> are perpetual and are maintained at Pebble Beach, winners are generally presented with a suitable trophy \u2014 often based on the Pebble Beach Concours Trophy designed by Emmanuel Zurini. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Established in 2012, is awarded to the car that best embodies the combination of excellence in performance and elegance in design.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1934 Hispano-Suiza J12 Vanvooren Cabriolet shown by <\/span>The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie, Hong Kong<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Established in 1984, goes to the most desirable touring car in its era. The well-known photographer served often as an Honorary Judge at this Concours.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1962 Land Rover Series IIA 109\u201d Special Station Wagon shown by <\/span>Anne Brockinton Lee\/The Lee Collection, Sparks, Nevada<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Established in 2002, goes to the car that showed the best use of new technology in its era, had groundbreaking style and engineering, and has had the greatest impact on car design today.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1956 Maserati A6G Zagato Berlinetta shown <\/span>Jonathan & Wendy Segal, San Diego, California<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Donated in 1978 by Briggs Cunningham himself, is awarded to the most exciting open car present. Cunningham was a great American sportsman and automobile creator and collector.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve Dietrich Convertible Sedan shown <\/span>The JBS Collection\/Jack Boyd Smith Jr., Elkhart, Indiana<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports shown by <\/span>The Pearl Collection\/Fritz Burkard, Zug, Switzerland<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Established in 1983, is awarded to the most deserving car present as selected by the Chairman.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Coupe Speciale shown by <\/span>Heinecke Family, Bangkok, Thailand<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Established in 1978, is awarded to the car with the most advanced engineering of its era. Chayne, a former General Motors Vice President of Engineering, was a great supporter of this Concours.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1931 Marmon Sixteen LeBaron 2-4 Rumble Seat Coupe shown by <\/span>Gary Severns, Long Beach, California<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Instituted in 2000, is awarded to the most significant classic car present.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1930 Packard 734 Speedster Eight Victoria Coupe shown by <\/span>The Nethercutt Collection\/Helen & Jack Nethercutt, Sylmar, California<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Donated by Ford Motor Company in 1977, is awarded to the most significant car related to our Hot Rod heritage. Batchelor was a noted auto writer and historian.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1966 Cannara Roadster shown by Guy Dirkin, Clermont, Florida<\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Established in 1988, is awarded to the car deemed to be most elegant in motion. To qualify for this award, a car must have successfully completed the Pebble Beach Tour d\u2019Elegance.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1954 Lagonda V12 Race Car (DP115\/2) shown by <\/span>Lawrence Stroll, Warwickshire, United Kingdom<\/span><\/p>\n \n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n Named for the Maestro himself, is awarded to the best Ferrari present.
